4th Annual All School Demo this Sat, Sept 15 from 10am-1pm at the Kicking Tigers location, Oakview Mall. Taiko at 10am, Aikido at 11:45am. Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Tai Chi... plus students, instructors/teaching staff will all be demonstrating their skills! Hope to see you there!

Our friends in at Capital Aikido - Lincoln are hosting their fall seminar this weekend, from Aug 3-5, 2018. All styles & affiliations are welcome. A potluck will be held on Saturday at 6pm for families & friends. This year, a free public self-defense class will also be offered on Saturday afternoon. There will be no class on Sat, Aug 4 so that students may attend the seminar.

No class at Oakview Mall tomorrow (Sat, May 12).
 Free seminar hosted by Fort Hays State Aikido Club in Hays, KS from April 27 – April 29. Both Matsuda Sensei and Nakayama Sensei were Shihandai to Fumio Toyoda Shihan, founder of the Aikido Association of America. This is an amazing opportunity!
No class on Sat, April 28 so that students may attend the FHSU Aikido Club Matsuda & Nakayama Sensei seminar.  No class on Sat, April 14. Dan Sensei will be instructing in Warrensburg at the Spring Intensive.

Cost is $20 full day / $15 students Day of Remembrance Event: "Go for Broke" Film Screening // Special All-Day Training Session3/5/2018  There will be no class on Mon, Mar 12 so that students may attend the Day of Remembrance Event at Harper Auditorium at Creighton University. There will be a special screening at 7pm of Stacey Hayashi's film Go For Broke, a 442nd Origins Story. Learn about the brave young men who served their country fighting in World War II while their families were incarcerated at home in America under martial law... The unit went on to become the most decorated unit of its size in U.S. History. Sat, Mar. 17 we will be having friends from Central Aikido in Missouri will be visiting for practice. A special day-long training session will be held - stay posted for more details!
 Ki Workshop & Intro to Kiatsu
Hosted by Central Aikido -On Sat, Feb 24 from 3-5pm. Work to develop and strengthen your center, connection, and flow. End the day learning the principles and fundamental processes of kiatsu massage. Participants in the kiatsu section should bring a simple t-shirt to wear during that portion of the class. Fee for new participants is $2 There will be no official class that day so that students may attend the workshop. Open mat practice. Our local friends at Aikido Omaha will be hosting the 2018 Valentine Seminar on Sat, Feb. 10 from 9am-6pm. Cost of the seminar is by donation - all proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society. Featuring Ron Christenham Sensei and other local instructors. We hope to see you there!  There will be no official class on Sat 1/27/18 - open mat practice that day. We are attending Central Aikido's Winter Intensive in Warrensburg. See you again on Monday night!
