Capital Aikido, Lincoln welcomes Bill Plank Sensei, 6th Dan, of Capital Aikikai. The seminar will be held Fri, Oct 27-Sun, Oct 29. Class times will be announced (based on Sensei's flight schedule), but are typically 7pm Fri, 10am / 2pm Sat, and 10am Sun. A potluck will be held on Sat night ~ 6pm, and families are invited. April 29-30, 2017 Midwest Aikido Center is hosting its annual O-Sensei Memorial Seminar with a very special guest instructor, Y. Yamada, Shihan, Chief Instructor and and Technical Advisor of the United States Aikido Federation, and Chief Instructor of New York Aikikai. All ranks are welcome, 18 years or older. Dan tests will follow after Saturday's classes, then a complimentary dinner held in the dojo. Robert, you truly helped us to remember O'Sensei's words to "always practice in a vibrant and joyful manner." Thank you for making the world, and aikido, a better place. You will be greatly missed. Sat, April 9 University of Central Missouri Spring Intensive featuring local instructors Chuck Renner of Springfield Aikido, Jaime Obrecht of Capital Aikido - Lincoln, and our own Dan Hayes Sensei. Practice sessions will start at 10 am and finish with testing at 5:15 pm. Cost is $20 ($15 for students). There will be no Saturday class in Omaha that day.
Sat, April 16 Shuurin Dojo in Omaha will be hosting an aikido seminar to celebrate its 5 year anniversary, with several instructors from the Midwest. Cost is $10 per 55 min session, or $50 for the day.
Fri-Sun, May 6-8 Capital Aikido - Lincoln Spring Seminar with Clyde Takeuchi of Capital Aikikai. Cost is $90 for the weekend or $70 for Saturday only.
