April 29-30, 2017 Midwest Aikido Center is hosting its annual O-Sensei Memorial Seminar with a very special guest instructor, Y. Join us for a free aikido demonstration at the St. Gerald Parish Festival on Sun, Sept 12. We'll be meeting there as a group at 12:45pm to assess our available space before going to the dojo at Mockingbird Hills Community Center to pick up mats. Please come already dressed out in your gi. The demo is currently scheduled to be around 2pm, and all dojo members are welcome to participate regardless of skill level. It should be low-key, and fun!
Our own Dan Hayes Sensei will be instructing at Central Aikido's Summer Intensive on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Sessions will run from 10am to 5pm at the University of Central Missouri Student Recreation and Wellness Center (in Warrensburg, MO). Cost for the day is $20 ($15 for students). There will be no class that Saturday to allow students to attend the seminar. We will be carpooling; please contact us if you're interested in joining!
Chushin Aikikai and our sister dojo, Tatsumaki Aikikai/Kansas State University Aikido Club, are pleased to host the 2nd Annual Musubi Seminar, featuring Wee-wow Dumlao, 6th Dan Shidoin, founder and chief instructor of Gold Coast Aikikai. The seminar will be held in Manhattan, KS, from May 29-31,2015, and also includes a friendship seminar on Sunday. Housing with dojo members is available. See flyer for details. There will be no class at Mockingbird Hills Community Center that weekend. Dojo members will be attending/assisting at the seminar.

Zanshin Aikido will be hosting a Friendship Seminar on Sat, Jan. 17 at the dojo in Independence, MO. Only $20 for the day, with several regional instructors (including our own Dan Sensei, as well as Les Sensei from our sister dojo in Manhattan, KS) from a variety of schools and styles.
