Starting August 1, we will no longer be having class on Tuesday evenings. Instead, practice will be held at the same time on Thursday.

Our own Dan Hayes Sensei will be instructing at Central Aikido's Summer Intensive on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Sessions will run from 10am to 5pm at the University of Central Missouri Student Recreation and Wellness Center (in Warrensburg, MO). Cost for the day is $20 ($15 for students). There will be no class that Saturday to allow students to attend the seminar. We will be carpooling; please contact us if you're interested in joining!
Shuurin Aikido is hosting its Fellowship Seminar on Saturday, June 27th. Cost: $50 for the day or $10 per session Sunday afternoon, Shuurin is having a pulled pork potluck/BBQ competition at the Base lake. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Chushin Aikikai and our sister dojo, Tatsumaki Aikikai/Kansas State University Aikido Club, are pleased to host the 2nd Annual Musubi Seminar, featuring Wee-wow Dumlao, 6th Dan Shidoin, founder and chief instructor of Gold Coast Aikikai. The seminar will be held in Manhattan, KS, from May 29-31,2015, and also includes a friendship seminar on Sunday. Housing with dojo members is available. See flyer for details. There will be no class at Mockingbird Hills Community Center that weekend. Dojo members will be attending/assisting at the seminar.
Capital Aikido - Lincoln will be hosting Clyde Takeguchi, Shihan from May 15-17, 2015. Fees will be $90 for the weekend or $70 for Saturday only. For more information, download the seminar flier. There will be no class on Sat, May 16 to allow Sensei and students to attend this seminar.
Kagami Biraki at the Lincoln dojo is Sat, Feb 21. Practice from 3-5pm. Potluck at 6. All are welcome.
The Midwest Aikido Center is pleased to announce a newly re-named seminar. What was Yudansha Seminar will now be O-Sensei Memorial Seminar. All individuals, of any rank, are now invited to attend. Dan testing will continue to be held as well. Yamada Sensei continues on as Instructor along with the ongoing rotation of USAF Technical Committee members. Donovan Waite, Shihan will co-instruct this year. Housing is available at the dojo on Friday and Saturday nights. Zanshin Aikido will be hosting a Friendship Seminar on Sat, Jan. 17 at the dojo in Independence, MO. Only $20 for the day, with several regional instructors (including our own Dan Sensei, as well as Les Sensei from our sister dojo in Manhattan, KS) from a variety of schools and styles.
